Destructoids Article made me sad. I dont think he gave enough credit at all to the story, and bungie is going to release some of it at e3

I totally agree with you there Wolfie. It seemed a bit harsh and undeserving.

I just read Kotaku's and I still dont feel all the hate either.. I think Destiny is shaping up to be a pretty great game

its not so much hate but disappointment from lack of information. Some of the forums guys are just making it worse.

I felt there were also some unfair comparisons being made, such as comparing free-roam and the, intentionally linear, strike of Destiny with competitive multiplayer in Titanfall and CoD.

yeah there is that. I mean how can that comparison be made when we havent even seen any of the real free roam yet?

Ya.. I enjoyed Gi's articles, learned something new, overall accomplishment haha. Cant wait to play this even if it is just a strike, wish there was some openworld in beta tho

you have to keep in mind that the number one thing many gamers play for is gameplay, and in the words of totalbiscuit, "your story doesnt mean shit if your gameplay is terrible." It's one of the reasons bioshock infinite was so heavily criticized for having a great story that is diluted as a consequence of the game's genre.
