Very interesting thread, OP. It's not often that something worth reading is posted on this forum. I chose money. Buying women isn't what I'm after. I'd much rather find a partner by more traditional means, though I'd also be happy living as a bachelor for the rest of my life. My biggest problems are debt, joblessness and people in general. If I had the chance to remove myself from these worries, then I would. My first choice was power until I read the caveat that all my doings would be undone upon my death, so that would be a fruitless endeavor, overall. I can do without buying women. I very much enjoy being single. Casual sex wasn't ruled out with the money choice, so long as I don't BUY women. Perhaps I'll find someone in the traditional manner (fall in love, get married, etc.) but being a bachelor forever would be a worthwhile price for that, and upon my death I would donate my money to those who would use it for the betterment of humanity. So, money is my choice.
My first choice was power until I read the caveat that all my doings would be undone upon my death
That was more or less myself overlooking what I had wrote; what action you take will not be undone in death, but instead humanity recovers from its lack of free will. The result could be that you are demonized, your reforms trashed (assuming you that you were progressive and morally outstanding with your power), and every good action undone by those who see you've damaged this world through your meddling. Contrary to that, the world can see the good you've done, notice how you've advanced society and technology within the limited time-frame you were alive, and eventually learn from your actions because you set an excellent example for what humanity is truly capable when united (and thus the golden age will continue). It ultimately relies on how humanity, as a whole, comes to completely understand the nature of what you've done and the progress that has been made as a result. It's a perspective thing: just because you think you've done good doesn't mean that others will also. So the example you set is as important as the change you make.
