Sucks mang. At least it sounds like your manager is more or less siding with you.
I don't get caught up in workplace drama. My co-workers have, but I've made it very clear that I have no interest in it. If they ignore that, I do what I did at my last job and quit. Long story aside, what made me decide to quit was my co-worker telling me "You gotta learn play the game man" ("The game" meaning workplace 'climb your way to the top by stabbing people in the back' game). Funny, I thought I was there to do my job.

Pretty much how I think. I even try and get along with those who start issues. Some people just don't have a life outside of work.
