*Stands to attention* Fuzzy eyes repotin for duteh. I found this gif quite helpful for explaining what my vision looks like although not as pronounced. It's annoying at times, but doesn't hinder my eyesight much at all. I'm still quite adept at hitting targets with an air rifle (Britbongistan, no fun guns to play with ;_;) and with a bow and arrow. I get infinitely more practise at sniping in games though <.< Rambling aside, these people http://eyeonvision.org/visual-snow.html seem to be working on studying it/investigating it and potentially finding a cure. It would be nice to get that crystal clear HD 1080 swag vision that everyone else has <.<

  • Well mines not that bad but when I close my eyes I notice it more. I notice I have it a bit when I just stare at something

I wonder if it helps me focus more sometimes. Things I look at directly don't have it as bad, but everything around it is pretty noisy. I have to focus kind of hard though. I dunno if I'd want it fixed unless it posed a serious risk, it's kind of fun. To clear something up, what do you see when you close your eyes? I see waves of light from the corners of my eyes that eventually form shapes in the center of my vision. I'm wondering if that's something attributed to visual snow or not. In the link you posted it says it can happen, just curious if it's a common trait.

It's like a fireworks display when I close my eyes. Shapes, Colours, very distinct sparkles and all that.

  • Neato. I've held a light to my face while keeping my eyes closed (I was seeing if I could see the blood vessels running through my eyes, which you can), and found you get some cool stuff if you just hold it at the center of your vision. The warmer colors kind of amplify it.

I try to avoid that <.< I have good night vision (Mostly from shutting myself in a dark room 24/7) and I don't want to try and damage it lol.

  • Didn't really effect my vision, I could see fine in the dark afterward. It was purely for science of course. Or because I saw it on the internet and was overtaken by curiosity.

  • It's a separate thing (forgot the name), so I guess it isn't exclusive to visual snow.
