Nu I think the Squirtle is better because he evolves into a Blastoise which is awesome, it can take up hits at Lvl 55 and be at high. Y u no like Squirtle?? D:<

Because Swampert is a ground water which makes it immune to electrical moves. Swampert will -blam!- Blastoise backwards into tomorrow

It does have a single, double weakness against grass.

There are several. And also the move, pending on the strength if both the type of the move and type of the pokemon, will also gain a 50% from STAB. And adding 4X towards a move 50% stronger is trouble.
