I would say: holy shit, you're right. Destiny's gonna be like an Überreach. Hope it still plays a little like Halo, though. Halo always felt the best to me; even Halo 4 felt powerful, and it's not even from Bungie.

It will be like Halo in the sense of tight, responsive, almost arcade-like gameplay and somewhat familiar map design. The sandbox however, will be completely different. In Lars Bakken's words... "We not making Halo again."

Glorious.

I think it's pretty clearly the combat is going to have a Halo-feel to it or at least I hope it will. Although they seem to have implemented ADS (aiming down sights) system which has never been in a Halo game before and the magical based attacks are something different and cool looking that will work hand-in-hand with the gunplay. From the footage I've seen, I think of Mass Effect 3's biotic attacks when I see magic used in Destiny which is good thing because the biotics in Mass Effect are really fun to use.

I never biotics much, actually. I'm not too big on magic mixed with guns (although I think we need a game with a modern-day setting, but with dragons and shit). I'm happy with lead.
