How much content do you expect to see from the Beta?
How many worlds do you think we are going to be able to explore in the upcoming beta? Will we be able to traverse the wastelands of the once congested areas of Earth? Will we take our Ships to the flood-infested terrain of The Moon? Or will we be able to try our might against the fierce Cabal in the far reaches of Mars? I'm looking forward to the many possibilities that Destiny Beta has in store for us, how about you, my fellow guardians?

I hope we at the very least get to see earth. Yes as you said it's a wasteland and even if it's limited I also hope the Beta includes what is just beyond earth (i.e. the moon, mars, etc.). Either way the beta cannot be released soon enough

12 RepliesTo be honest I hope they keep it to a minimum If they don't that's fine but I will limit my self to the wastelands of our once great earth. Just personal opinion! Don't wanna spoil myself to much before the game is released!

I think it was said that a good portion/most of the final product will consist of the beta.

Defiantly Old Russia, the part of the moon with the strike we saw in the trailer, and possibly se areas on mars or Venus? Nothing too crazy, just places to make us want to explore even more in the full game.

I believe we'll only be allowed one or two maps, The Tower, and maybe Old Russia or the Flooded city (vex) .. We'll see. :)

Enough to run the proper test and give us a taste of the game, while at the same time leaving us hungry for more.

Well they want us to get a taste of everything but not to much so I'd say full character custom a pvp map a partial or maybe full earth locations the tower and a raid probably the moon to show the travel ing from planet to planet(moon). Probably all kinds of weapons and all powers and upgrades will be available ship customising shrike customising they want us to play and mess with every option. So I say at least enough to keep us occupied for the time period its available to us.

I've assumed it was going to be the Moon, and maybe the Tower. Remember when they announced the Beta, and had that Moon trailer? I think there's a connection.

Most likely just one planet. We will probably be able to do most of the multiplayer and none of the campaign.

I think that you will be able to get to level 10-20, the beta will most likely keep us on earth. But I'm hoping their will be lots of side missions and main story so I have enough game play to hold me till September 9th

I am expecting that they will have us test the gameplay aspect and anything else they need to have mass numbers of players test. I think it would be cool if they chose specific players who play beta specifically to help Bungie develop the game and sent them to the other planets to actually try and find something that isn't working correctly. Also they will need to test every single public event, all quests/missions, raids, etc. check for timers to make sure public events are available again after a certain time(if public events can be done more than once).

10 RepliesIt will probably be localized to one zone (Old Russia), or very limited exploration of 2 zones. I would guess the max player level will be 10.

3 RepliesI would say old Russia or a place we haven't seen they just want to make sure that the lag isn't there and server size and a few other problems. Maybe able to go to the moon at max to give them the test of how space travel works with the servers. The main problem they will get is server size to many people and we get crashes to few people and they will piss people off.

2 RepliesIt's going to be a 1 hour campaign and half of it you have to try and catch a magically dragon that you can never really catch....then the other half hour you spend running away from the dragon who ends up catching you regardless of one's strategy to evade it....truly epic
