Lets play versus: Halo vs Warhammer 40k
Rules: the battle takes place in a single star system, the system can not be wiped out (sorry Halo Rings). But feel free to blow up or glass planets. For the sake of having a somewhat fair battle no omnipotent beings are invited, precursors counts as omnipotent beings in this case. When it comes to the flood they might be able to infect the Orks (I'm uncertain of this because they are half plant). But the flood CAN'T infect Tyranids as they are not sentient life.
NO COMBINING TECH e.g you can't have a spartan with forerunner armour.
*Important* Some of you may bring the covenants plasma weapons into account, before doing this you have to realise the difference between Warhammer 40k and Halo plasma weapons.

The armies of 40K wouldn't be able to fit into one solar system. And that's just the Imperium of Man. And if the flood can't infect tyranids then it's an absolute massacre. I don't think anyone quite comprehends the scale of the slaughter for the Haloverse here... What's likely to happen is the chaos marines blow up a planet and send the fragments hurtling towards the UNSC/Covvies whilst Orks pour over the surface of their newly found Roks. The Tau/Kroot just sit back and light the ships up, the Eldurr just hide liek teh lil bitches they are <.< The Dark Eldar are too busy being perverts in the basement to do shit. The Necrons could solo the forerunners and Covenant and UNSC but they can just use their flayer cannons to strip away the bodies and sanity of anyone they are fighting. The Tyranids would out eat the flood and just become a ridiculously powerful juggernaut as the more biological entities they fight/eat the stronger they become. Like the flood, but on Meth. The Daemons would just manifest inside the UNSC fleet and cause absolute havoc there as they have no effective means of combatting them. Mac guns would bounce off void shields like crackling candy. And then there is the Imperial Guard. With literally enough tanks, artillery, bombers and superheavies to annihilate the UNSC a thousand times over, with a handful of regiments. DKOK Ftw. Then there are the Spess Mehrens who would take on the forerunners with relative ease. THEN there are the Titans. Those sods could squish a scarab with their boots. Haloverse would be sodomised out of existence within minutes.

It would be close but Space Marine artificer armor is probably similar strength to Spartan armor. That doesn't mean a Space Marine is equal to the chief by any means though. In the end I think Space Marin's technology, ig's artillary and Tyranid's sheer numbers, 40k would win.
