Years ago, when I first joined this community, I thought there'd eventually be a time when the community wasn't seemingly ruled by 16-year-olds without the faintest idea of how the real world works. How wrong I was.

Funny enough it was the 16-year olds years ago, people like me, that were affect by Marty the most. They being a most likely the larger amount of people who are posting about their sadness over what happened.

There's no doubt quite a few of the people complaining about Marty being fired have no "attachment" to Marty's music in the first place. I know I sound like a hipster, but it's true. Happens with every piece of news that gets big. Some semi-famous actor leaves the business? Suddenly everyone is a fan of their work.

It's natural to appreciate something only after you realize it won't be there anymore. Like when a family member dies.
