I beat both and played Touch and Go often. The DS one was great but lacked the adventure feel of the older one. It was more like a puzzle game

Same. The original is unfrigginbelievable while the newer ones are meh. I have yet to play Yoshi's New Island but I hear it isn't as good either.

Oh that's right. Unfortunately its not coming out on the gameboy so I'm a lost cause for that other wise id buy it. I'm currently trying to beat the first one for the hundredth time XD It just never gets old.
