I don't see why you wouldn't stay till the end of a film. If it's bad then ok, but a) these days there are often extra clips at the end, and b) you might as well get your money's worth; the ticket prices are only going up.

I stay after due for a few reasons... 1.) After movie scenes 2.) Air-conditioning/Heating 3.) Character name ideas 4.) No bathroom lines (thank god) 5.) Review movie with friends/family 6.) See how many people made the movie 7.) Some other reasons too
