Halo 4 was an interesting breed. After the failure of Reach they decided to continue down the path of dudebro shooters and keeping loadouts. Adding perks and random drops. Putting in real gun noises to attract muricans but it sounds terrible in game. Try to attract the cod audience and casuals who jump game to game. Made the br useless, ordinances random and not set weapon spawns which thus stopped map movement. Then when casuals jumped ship halo players competetive and non who wanted a 1-50 or balanced halo game arena style left. And populations dipped to 15,000 on at one time. Being the first halo game struggling to stay in top 5. It saddens me, because they said trust us, then decided to tell us they hired people whodisliked the series. Its one facepalm after another with these guys. Get new PR build on h3s system with h2 hitscan stop with the gimmicks no one cares and make money.

It's barely holding onto that 15k, what do you mean "dipped"?
-
Crashed? Burned the worst turnover rate in halo mm history?
-
I get that, but it's still less than 15k. Halo 4 has barely been holding on to 15k status for months.
-
Yea my apologies but its still bad lol whathave they done to halo.

*Like there actually being a market of other decent games to play doesn't have any impact whatsoever*
-
Implying the population of xbl has stayed the same since halo 2 or 3. Great logic though.
-
What? That doesn't make sense. I was saying that for once there are plenty of other decent games to play besides Halo. Halo 2 and 3 pretty much owned the market but that isn't true any longer.
-
>Implying he even said that. Nice reading skills you got there.
-
Its like you lack reading comprehension. He had stated that because of more games in todays market that there would be less playing halo 4. However, if we compare stats of players on xbl from halo 2/3 to now I guarantee its ten times over. More players on xbl more players who would easily pick up and play h4 if it were a good game. High school education suits you lemon.

Edited by BannedLemön: 4/13/2014 6:31:35 PMThere's a higher XBL user base, sure. But there are also far more good games to play now as opposed to back then. Also, Halo 2/3 counts population differently than Halo 4. So that's another thing to take into account. You're the one who clearly has shitty reading skills.

And really better games are subjective. Compared to the n64/ps2/xbox era its really only been AAA dudebro shooters. Even going back to halo 3 cod 4 and other games were available as well. Pc games still existed and the 360 and ps3 had many games to choose from. So to say there are better games out there when Halo has been on the decline quality wise(much like resident evil) for a while is a moot point. More players on xbl halo is an exclusive to the xbox sure third party games exhist but people played halo 2 and 3 because they were good games. Thats my conclusion.
Compared to the n64/ps2/xbox era its really only been AAA dudebro shooters.
Where have you been living?
Even going back to halo 3 cod 4 and other games were available as well.
Yes, I know that. What I'm saying is that there are far more games for people to play now than there was back then.
Pc games
I don't even see how thats even relevant, seeing as were talking bout the 360.
360 and ps3 had many games to choose from.
Seriously, do you lack anything above primary school reading skills? Because 1) PS3 games aren't relevant to this. 2) There are more games on the 360 now than there was back then.

There are also ten times as many users now than then. Apparently I cant read.
-
Next you'll be telling me everyone who has a 360 has XBL.
-
He was implying the complete opposite... He's saying that because there's more good games on the market than there were back in the day, that is why Halo 4's population is shit
