The original Battlefront 3 fell victim to internal politics. Basically a new president of Lucas Arts came in and he shut down all of the projects that his predecessor had started due to the fact that his predecessor would have gotten the credit for them and would be remembered for overseeing some really good stuff. We were then given shit like StarWars Dance Party until he left and Lucas Arts was sold to Disney before they had the chance to fiinish all those good looking projects (like 1313).

While that is very unfortunate indeed and that guy's a butthead, I meant the newer one that so many people are talking about.

IIRC DICE said that they didn't want to make a StarWars skinned Battlefield so I'm hoping it'll be in good hands.

Battlefield 4 was apparently the the result of EA rushing it out the door so it could compete with Ghosts for the holidays.
