About 27% of all computers in the entire world are running it, so yes.

Yea I actually saw that below. But that's absolutely retarded that people still use it. It came out 12 years ago, with the last service pack coming out 5 years ago. Upgrade people.
-
Works fine for me.
-
I'm not saying it doesn't work, but with windows 7 out, and dare I say windows 8, might as well upgrade.
-
Why get something new when the old one works just fine?
-
because XP is actually full of security holes and exploits, it's the most targeted system for malware attacks. these problems were somewhat fixed in the later windows versions(but every new version has it's own set of problems).

Edited by MoReCoWbELLx2x1: 4/8/2014 11:50:24 PMBecause the newer one is better. In normal I would agree with you, don't fix it if it's not broken. But in the case of software, it's different.
-
I've yet to see evidence for that.
-
Then you should probly do some research. Windows 7 is considered better than XP. XP is just straight up outdated.
-
What does Windows 7 have that XP doesn't? How would that effect/benefit me by switching to it?
-
Better security, quicker, better 64 bit version. Feel free to go explore the internet and find any amount of reasons.
-
It's mostly businesses that found it cheaper to stay with Windows XP than to upgrade a bunch of computers. Also, upgrading isn't always better. See Windows Vista.
-
what is everyone's beef with vista? it's basically XP with a reskin and slightly improved security coding.
-
I found it annoying to work with and it worked horrendously for games. The case that the tower had was neat though.
-
Or look at windows 7
-
The fact that you're knocking XP shows how little you know about computers...
-
Where did I say windows xp was bad?
-
"But that's absolutely retarded that people still use it." You inferred it with your apparent distaste towards it.
-
That doesn't mean I think it's bad. That means that their are better options, like windows seven.
-
"better options" That's a real opinionated statement, friend.
-
Says the one that called me out for something I didn't say. I don't care, if you still use XP, or if you think it's better than 7 or 8. Just know that now you pretty much have to upgrade, like it or not.
