F****ING FINALLY!
this is fffaaaaaaaabulous!
i got a library of 360 games i don't use any more since why use the 360 when the one does more, better?
English
-
Because the 360 still has more games than the X1.
-
re-read that. think about it.
-
Because the Xbone doesn't play 360 games?
-
-
You won't be able to use your disc though.
-
you most likely could. a 2x bluray is a much faster(than 2x) DVD player and even faster than dvds as a CD-rom player. there is already a BD and DVD-playing app. this proves it can read and stream from DVDs. the real issue they have is developing the emulator to convert the 360's proprietary architecture to X86 format. it would be great if they could use the cloud to make the DLC/game saves on your 360 transfer over as long as you use the same account/gamertag.
-
The Xbone isn't backwards compatible. That's why they're going to emulate the games digitally. Plus it's MS, you really think they'll pass up potential money?
-
How so?
-
Because you can't patch hardware.
-
If there's a will, there's a way
-
for firmware/software, yes. hardware means an expensive redesign and re-release.
-
I was just messing around
-
There's no way to patch hardware.
