Halo 3 on xbox one with working multiplayer? Sounds like a plan to me.
with working multiplayer?
Keep in mind that Xbox 360 support is ending next year, which means no Xbox 360 Xbox LIVE. Microsoft would have to re-release Halo 3 to run natively on the Xbone as an Xbone title and not as an emulated title.

Where did they say this? I remember reading they'd support it for at least 5 more years.

Haha no, when they mean "support" they mean to continue releasing new games they are NOT going to shut down live. on the 360 in just three years the install base is still massive. That would be the stupidest move ever.

When they mean support is ending they really mean live is getting shut off? I thought they just meant no more xbox 360 updates or games being made.

Well ya, all of that as well. I was just focusing on Xbox LIVE since you mentioned Halo 3 multiplayer.

well that sucks. I knew they'd stop supporting but did not know that mean they would pull xbox live as well. If that is true then my favorite Halo game will be gone forever which would really suck ... I still play Halo 3 to this day ... guess I'll have to keep playing until the plug is pulled. This is the thing I hate about great multiplayer games that have no bot support. Once online is gone multiplayer is useless ... here's to hoping future Halos have some form of bot support. I would be ecstatic if it happened.
