Back when there were a great number of forum rules that were strictly enforced, and trolling was a bannable offense, posting "reported" was one of the most counterproductive things a member could do. The irony being the users' intentions were to be helpful. [i]"Let me post [u]reported[/u] (in doing so, bumping spam to the top of the forum, and keeping the junk in circulation) so that I may receive acknowledgment, and hopefully praise, for reporting rule violators!"[/i] Good intentions, poor execution. [b]Especially[/b] when users would post "report and move on". A hypocritical statement in itself, don't you think?
