This isn't about the Civil War.
-
Did Abraham Lincoln end slavery in the U.S.?
The answer is simply no.
-
Have you ever heard of the Emancipation Proclamation?
-
He didn't end slavey, much less the civil war wasn't even about slavery until the end, it was about state rights

OH MAN, THOSE YOUTUBE VIDEOS REALLY SERVED TO TOPPLE THE COMMONLY ACCEPTED ACCOUNT OF HISTORY, THANKS MAN. MAYBE POST SOME VIDEOS ABOUT HOW THE EARTH IS FLAT, TOO. IT'D BE NICE TO GET THAT WORD OUT AS WELL.

I guess you believe George Washington was the first president too? Pro tip: History doesn't tell the truth.
-
He certainly was the first president. He was the first president to serve under the Constitution, so he was, for all intents and purposes, the first president.
-
First president under the constitution yes, first president of the US though? No
-
Lol, I just brushed up on my US history, and you're actually wrong. Under the Articles, there was no executive. There was a president of Congress, but that was different than the president of the US. Washington was truly the first president. You should probably read up a bit.
-
The president of congress was the same as the current way of president. He had some executive power over the rest. The only difference is that one is given power by the constitution, one is given power by the congress. But they essentially acted the same.

Public edu tends to white wash history. Stephen Molyneux does a great job at breaking down the history that your govt doesn't seem to mention regarding these subjects.
