Why are teens so defensive about smoking?
Let me start by saying I have never smoked anything and never plan to.
I cannot understand why some people get so offended about people calling out the teen smokers. Smokers already know it only hurts them so why do they defend themselves when someone calls them out? They are seriously annoying they blow smoke over to everyone else around the bus stop and it is not pleasant.
Why do these people get so defensive about it?
[spoiler]before you go posting about me exploiting others accounts on Facebook they made all things public and they posted on a public page, so I am just as entitled to post who they as they are to post on the page. [/spoiler]
The comments on this did continue for quite some time after the picture and it just turned into a butthurt fest like all teens on the Internet but really the smokers got so offended and I cannot see how they are at all in the right here.

I don't like putting up with second hand smoke. My aunts husband smoked daily and she never even touched a cigarette. She has lung cancer now and is currently undergoing chemo. My uncle decided to quit but that's a slow and difficult process and the damage is done. I'm not prissy about limited exposure but I'm sure not going to hang around smokers often

32 RepliesI smoke an ecig and I still go outside and make sure I'm not around anyone ( like within 15 feet) it's just common courtesy. When I was a kid I -blam!-ing hated cig smoke. I still do. But my ecig isn't any better and should be treated the same.

The problem here is these kind of people think they're entitled, they think you should be the ones to walk 15 feet away because they have the right to smoke, well they don't realise that nobody has to inhale second hand smoke, the smokers should be the ones to walk away. *Prepares for butthurt idiots to attack me*

So when they are smoking it at the bus stop because they can't smoke anywhere else, and catch shit because of the direction of the wind. They get a bit annoyed. Most smokers wish they could quit. But it's not so easy. And no this is not to say there isn't a massive load of d-bags everywhere as well lol
