I'm hoping for more futuristic weapons than that.
Plasma cannons
Gauss Rifles
Sonic Disruptors
EDIT: Ooops Forgot Laser Rifle
Bullets are so old fashioned.

Like in Borderlands, it would be nice to know if a certain alien race is somewhat immune to a particular round type.
