they seem to have very few anime VAs at funimation and they basically use their same staff for everything, like each officer worker is also a VA.

He was also the voice of Rin from Blue Exorcist. Blue Exorcist and SAO were licensed by Aniplex, so this guy doing a lead voice for Funimation is rather surprising.
