It'd certainly make me more [i]willing[/i] to consider paying a subscription fee if the game was good. It wouldn't be something that'd automatically make me interested in MMOs, but it'd certainly make them a whole lot more worthwhile in my opinion and make it easier to consider getting the game.

Yeah, one of the few reasons I don't like them currently is because you feel that you get locked into them. If you also had the freedom to freeze the sub for awhile to do other things, I'd easily pay for a month's time or whatever, play it when I want to, freeze it when I want to do something else. That way you still have your original amount of time and can go at it when you want, I don't understand why this isn't an option for any of the popular MMOs.

Mhm, or if something comes up that keeps you from having the time play too, either way your subscription isn't dribbling away and essentially wasting the money you spent on it. I don't get it either....maybe they figure they get more money with the way things currently are >_>

I've told you about myself playing XIV, I think I'm gonna ask this over there as well, they would be able to offer a pretty great explanation on why we have no choice for the subs like this when it can only be a good thing.
