I'm only suggesting that Vidmaster Challenges could be one avenue that Bungie could take in order to make available Exotic tiered gear. Hell, they could make one set of challenges to complete for a single random piece of gear. They don't have to make it the same piece over and over. :-D

That still defeats the purpose of an exotic. They should be something you stumble upon, not something you can find by going on YouTube.

Whoops. I meant in the sense of complete one time, get a one time random piece and that's it. That would ensure that everyone has something different and would reduce farming, while at the same time making it satisfying to obtain at least ONE Exotic for everyone. Let's face it, Bungie will at least throw ONE bone to entice players. That's all you'll need. If you want the full set, you'll have to stumble upon the other pieces in other ways, but never this method ever again.

That would be ok I guess... I just don't want to see a handful of people in every PvP match and public event that all have the same exotic weapon.
