The better question is when will people lose party favoritism and vote for the person instead of the name of the party attached.

Well, the reason their name is attached to a party is because that candidate endorses certain policies or values.

False. Ron Paul ran as a Republican only because it is almost impossible to get recognized without being a part of the Democratic or Republican party.

The point was that people voted for Obama or Romney because they were democrat/republican, not because they knew what the candidates wanted
