Graphics are a little fuzzy for me and aren't fixed by that 'spectacles' patch they released a while ago, but I think that's just a bug on my end. But the story's cool if a little slow. Everything interesting seems to happen to everybody else and my character's quite a wimp sometimes. The lack of combat or exciting car chases is a real letdown and all the micro-transactions can be a real pain in the arse, especially when in-game money is so difficult and complicated to accumulate. I like the amount of detail they put into the open world though; I mean there aren't many games out there that let you enter literally any building (so long as you have the right key) and the diverse terrain is really quite spectacular if you can get to it. Though the random character generation sucks. Each player is 'born' under conditions completely our of their control so you can't choose your situation or what you look like or whether you're male or female. You can't even choose your own name for Christ's sale; what the hell's with that?! And the amount of bugs are horrendous. Some people will just be walking along on their way to a mission objective and some AI driver will just randomly lose control and drive straight into them and kill them. You only get one life in this game and there is no save feature so if that happens you're royally -blam!-ed. I don't even know how you win the bloody thing; everyone I know who've been playing for a while seem to just die. Although the story is rather immersive I think the bad points far outweigh the good. All in all 3/10 Pretty and powerful but deeply disappointing

I found some pretty cool Easter eggs...funily enough the '10/10' system manifested itself from life, therefore rendering any score as arbitrary and paradoxical.

3 RepliesThe graphics are pretty nice, and the story is quite immersive. However, everthing is a microtransaction, and the University DLC is expensive. The character customization has a nice clothing selection, but editing any facial features just makes the character look like plastic. I do feel that the UI is awful. Pausing the game isn't an option, and navigating the menus is a frustrating experience. There is also no crosshair on the screen, so moving to interact with objects can be difficult at times. Overall, I give it 7/10. Big Bang Industries has a really unique premise, but there is room for improvement in order to make the game that much better.
