Isn't that a bit harsh.... some people may not be on everyday (hell I know I am not) and may want to keep a conversation going.
Plus, what does this have to do with the Olympics?

Do you comment on posts that are months old, tricking us normal folk into thinking its a live post? Then to the stake with you! Otherwise...*hands pitchfork* join the cause. What doesn't it have to do with the Olympics?

*drops pitchfork* But if people are contributing to a older thread in a meaningful way then why should we discourage that. It means the topic resonates with people no matter how old the topic is. It is a good sign and shows the over all health of the community as a whole. No the issue is remarks that do not add much to the conversation.
