She's still a criminal for what she did. Kidnapping children, indoctrinating them and turning them into killing machines is a crime.

The Spartans weren't even created to fight the Covenant. They were created to fight Innies. It was just a convenient coincidence that they were around for when the Covenant attacked.

The real question is, why were they even needed? Stealth insertions, kidnappings, and sabotage missions would have been done just as well by regular dudes. We didn't even see them do anything ordinary stealth operatives couldn't have done.

I know, right? Countering Innies could have easily been done with ODSTs and Special Ops.

True, however, the insurrectionists were terrorists. Therefore, the Spartans were for a good cause. I have read most of the books lol. I am well aware of the innies lol

It was a crime to fight another crime. It kind of negates some of what she did to a certain degree.

But they did save many lives, and in my opinion, it's a "which evil is lesser?" Type situation lol
