The Tea Party is a lot like communism: Their ideas and intentions are good in concept however, the people who try to promote them wind up putting twists on them and simply do not have the best intentions. I agree with about 99% of these values but I am still a right-winged Libertarian

And just bc we want immigrants to follow laws and respect our borders, and that we should stop giving them govt benefits, doesn't mean we hate mexicans. Teas generally want to get govt out of marriage, and they also want to reform immigration laws. So your statement may be true in a minority of teas, but honestly more so true about your modern day Republican.
