I can see the shitty shading, but i am unsure as to if the graphics and textures are seriously that bad

Mmm, im worried, but the graphics looked pretty damn nice in the newly released X1 trailer, which uses gameplay and in-game cut-scenes/animations

It still looks good, sure. But it's clearly downgraded a lot from the 2012, and the 2013 "PS4" (which was running on a high end PC, so they had lied to us, again) gameplay footage they showed at E3.
