Having flying vehicles would take away from the gaming experience.

The flying vehicles, just like flying mounts in games like WoW would be reserved for only the highest level guardians. It would be a faster way to get around at end game when you have explored most of each area enough.

The game is about exploring, not flying over everything to go to the end and poof you're done. Even at end game flying vehicles just seem pointless to have.

With how big the worlds will be, and the average speed of a vehicle like the Banshee I believe it's safe to say that we wouldn't miss too much. There will most likely be flying vehicles regardless. Whether or not we get to own them is a different story.

I sincerely doubt there will be flying vehicles besides your space ship.

I just feel like given the setting if destiny, that it would be improbable for their not to be flying crafts on the battlefield.
