A lot of them actually bust their ass for a shit wage contrary to what you believe. Unfortunately, escaping the vicious cycle of poverty isn't a piss in the park. Sometimes it doesn't even matter if they work hard or not, simply due to the abysmal state of social mobility in the majority of the western world. I'd be more inclined to admit you have a point if our social and political infrastructure wasn't so ass backwards and completely whored out to the 1%.
