OK, go to your doctor and get your testosterone levels checked. If you are running low, it could effect your improvements.
Now, to your system, it sounds like you are keeping good track of what you do. What you should do is start increasing your weights, say by 5% every two weeks. As some others said, get more protein. I'd recommend the shakes. But talk to a pro (or your doctor) for how much and when.
well my friend is pretty ripped, and he hits the books hard on the best ways to do things. He says I need to eat at least 6 meals a day. These meals obviously being a bit smaller than a normal one. But he says to get a Peanut Butter sandwich in me whenever possible. and snack on Peanuts all the time just to get that protein in.
however, work makes all this difficult. time restraints and stuff.

This not what you need, you're just eating pointless fats. Small amount of carbs and fats, lots of vegetables and protein.
Indeed it does. His idea isn't bad, but you really need to be concerned with balance. Nomming 6 PB sandwiches a day isn't healthy. Like I said, a talk with your doctor can get you set straight.
There are some that aren't. Are you going to school? If so, talk to the University doc. They don't have to be good to run some bloodwork, and advise on nutrition.
