So I broke down and got a Facebook
I have no ungodly idea what I'm doing. Like, what do I even do now? I have never used social networking before so this is all rocket science to me, how do you guys use this thing?

It's stupid. I keep it cause my girlfriend would think it odd I deleted it, and it's convenient to have. The only status updates anymore are people stealing my iPod, thinking it's a phone.

1 ReplyI never made my own Facebook. When I was in 9th Grade, a good friend of mine always told me to get a FB so we could talk to one another outside of school. (no phone back then) So she made one for me using a picture of me she had on her cellphone. She then gave me the email address and password for the profile she had made for me. I decided to use it since she went to the trouble. However, over time, I got on less and less. I eventually deleted the profile. We stopped talking completely. Four years later... I ran into her when I went to SubWay. We didn't say a single word to one another. I could tell she felt awkward about it. So I just pretended not to see her.

1 ReplyDon't have a facebook, but I'm telling you right now that you better remove the anime stuff plastered all over it (or at least until you have a good sized group of friends who don't care, maybe a girlfriend too). Anime still hasn't become mainstream brody and until then it wont really be seen as acceptable to show off your interest for it to the world. Think vidya back in the 70s-late 90's.

Have a fb pic of your own face. That is all I ask. Don't include swag, yolo or do a selfie because that automatically makes you seem like a dickhead. Just a picture, any. Reduce anime content but not completely obviously. DO NOT post statuses fishing for likes, post only when you really need too and don't post stuff like "OMG TOOK A BIG SHIT, LOL #YOLO!" ..Do..Do not take pictures of EVERY SINGLE -blam!-ING THING YOU BUY! Please!
