Technically we thought they had nukes and we felt threatened so we attacked them. Justified.

The UN came back with nothing and we ignored them and attacked anyways. Did we find anything when we invaded? No. [i]What a surprise[/i]

Well at the time, we thought maybe attacking a highly oppressive regime that had nuclear weapons would save more lives than leaving the highly oppressive regime alone with a stockpile of nuclear weapons ready to use. If there were nukes, they would have cause alot more casualties.

We knew Iraq had WMDs because we gaves them WMDs in the Iran Iraq war. So we know that they DID have them, but by the time we got there, they had been removed or sold.
