The Flood is turning into a bunch of pussies.
Seriously. The mute tolerance in this place gets lower and lower everyday. I can understand muting a few people for good reasons but muting somebody because you don't like them after one reasonably legitimate post is too much. You people are muting what makes the flood what it is. It's a festival of stupidity, legitimate discussion, oddities, and comedy. If you mute all of those, what do you have? You have a boring ass news and politics forum with a hell of a lot of hidden threads. If you mute all the stupid and entertaining stuff, then what the hell is the point of being here? Sure the shitposting can get pretty bad, but it can also be fun. Some shitpostin is funny, some is odd, some is disgusting, and some is just spam. But why mute all of it? If you do then this is one boring hellhole filled with self-righteous assholes. You people need to start having some fun. I decided to long ago and I've had an amazing amount of fun with my fairies.

People will do what they feel like, until they are directly affected by consequences and therefore pushed into action or realization. If Two-Guns-Tommy over here just starts muting people on a whim because he gets upset, than that's his god damn problem, and when he gets slapped upside the head one day and starts complaining that there's nothing interesting going on, then maybe he'll take a look in the spiderweb filled basement of his mute list and set loose a couple of names into daylight once more. Calm your tits, let people wade into their own mistakes. They sure as hell won't listen otherwise.
