the things i like about console is
1. splitscreen possibility (splitscreen ranks very high because playing halo with cousins/friends is one of the most enjoyable experiences in my life)
2. the controller. it's more immersive. although i'm sure a hardcore pc player on halo would beat a hard core console gamer because of mouse accuracy and ease of aiming, it's just more fun to use the console

A few PC games have split screen, and you can use a controller on a PC if you want to.

i guess, but i generally suck in IT stuff, and who the hell plays 4 player splitscreen on a laptop?

Ah. A laptop is perfectly fine for less taxing games. But just because split screen wouldn't work well on one, doesn't mean it wouldn't work well on any PC. Laptops aren't as suited for gaming as desktops, judging PC gaming by them isn't very fair. But I'm not looking to argue over this. You enjoy what you enjoy, I enjoy what I enjoy. I just wanted to point out that your strong points for consoles could be found on PC's as well. Cheers!
