From what I've seen it's a lot cheesier than the main game. Lots of cringe-y sentimental stuff between Ellie and Riley. The Joel/Ellie relationship was so great because the game wasn't trying to establish a connection between them from the beginning. They just grew on each other organically as the game progressed. Plus Riley doesn't seem all that interesting. I feel as though you like Riley only because Ellie likes her, and you like Ellie. But w/e.
