And the plot thickens. Great chapter. I anticipate the battle to come and Nora getting Chloe. Pavla's skills as a member of a Vanguard team intrigue me as well.

Thanks. Nora has yet to see, let alone fight, the Cabal army currently milling about on Mars so there might be an issue or two. As for Pavla, she was made a part of the team for surviving more than anything, but in the years since her skills have been honed.

I look forward to seeing how Nora will have to adapt to fighting unfamiliar foes. Pavla seems like a hardened soldier. I can't wait to see how she fights. Remind me about something real quick. Is Isabel in Nora's possession at the moment? I'm just thinking about dual revolvers and that's a cool image.

Correct, but Isabel is a semi-automatic pistol modeled after the Mauser c96 (i.e. not a revolver).
