Why did you like Man of Steel?

i love cathartic revisionist takes of characters that push them out of their comfort zones. and i love absurdist fiction too. and i love superman. basically it took a character i know and love for being the shining light of perfection and put him in obscene, almost pornographic situations, and in that way it's one of the most moving movies i've ever watched.
