I played one match then quit, had no idea what the whole thing was and everyone was just jumping into an area full of enemies

Didn't even try to figure it out eh? Well if in 5 minutes you realized it's not your cup of tea that's fine. If you ever decide to actually give it a shot it'll take more than a few sittings to see why the game's super addicting but it's well worth it.
