Your first and last games of the 7th generation?
It's been probably the longest console generation the industry has ever experienced. 8 long years.
Now, with 7th generation releases beginning to wind down, it's time to look back: what was your first purchase of this generation just gone? If you bought several as part of a bundle or deal, name all of them.
And your last? Have you already made it or is there life yet in your 360/PS3? Or even your Wii. Lolwii.
I'm running late for my lunch, so I'll do mine in an edit in about an hour.
Edit: I bought my 360 at launch (well, three weeks thereafter), unlike probably most owners, so my game choice was limited to launch titles, as well as the games with the only bundle in stock anywhere at the time:
King Kong and Perfect Dark Zero.
Well, I enjoyed PDZ more than most, it seems. Bot matches were especially fun, considering I didn't have XBL back then, and it was like Timesplitters but shinier. Much shinier.
And this end of the generation? I bought Arkham Origins a few days ago, and it's a lot of fun. Not as good as City, obviously, and it can be frustratingly buggy, but still enjoyable. And I'll be buying a PS4 in three and a half weeks, so that's it for this generation.
It's been the best.
Edited edit: Dead Island is a Game with Gold. Likely gonna get.
Edited edited edit: in fact, for as long as GwG continues, I may not have my last full 360 game for years yet.

First: Halo 3 Last: well im still playing it, so who knows, probably dark souls 2 unfortunately since it would go next gen.

First would have been Sonic '06. Last, at least right now, is Assassin's Creed: Liberation HD.

Ghost recon advanced warfighter cause thats what came with my bundle. My latest purchase was GTA V but I won't know my last until they stop supporting the 360.

My first purchase was Halo 3. I actually had a bundle but I can't remember what they were and I only played Halo 3 anyway! My last purchase was Crysis 3 but I'm going to buy Halo Spartan Assault when I next buy some Xbox LIVE credit.

I think Need For Speed Carbon was my first. Seems so long ago. My last, not including GwG, would probably be FarCry 3 Blood Dragon. This past year hasn't been very interesting for me so I bought such few games. I'm getting Titanfall so that would end up being my last, eventually.

1 ReplyI started out with the Wii in 2007. My first game on it was Wii sports or Mario Strikers, if Wii sports doesn't count. As for my last, I can't remember. I bought a lot of games during last year's holiday season.

Started with Oblivion and will most likely end with Metro: Last Light if I don't get the Dead Space sequels.

First game I bought was Halo 3, although I had Bioshock before that. That was in December 07. Last game was GTA5 I got for my bday last December.

I think PGR3 was technically my first Xbox 360 game. The first of the generation I really got into, though, was Oblivion. Last purchased was Hitman: Absolution used. Last to get into (got it on Gamefly now) is probably going to be Grand Theft Auto V, which I may eventually buy.

My first 7th gen console was an Xbox 360 that I got just for Halo 3, so that ended up being my first game for gen 7. My last game will probably be Fable: Anniversary because I plan to get an Xbox One with Titanfall.
