You know, I agreed with the original post; it's stupid that they are trying to get race removed from crime alerts, as including race severely reduces the number of possible suspects. But I don't agree with this. It has nothing to do with political affiliation. All people are offended by a lot of things. I can just as easily offend a Conservative by cross-dressing as I can offend a Liberal by reading aloud from a Bible in a school. It's just that people are offended by different things. But what these people are being offended by is just silly, from anybody's point of view (except their own obviously). Also, the last time I checked, most Americans are Christian and lean towards the right side of the political spectrum.
