On a serious note why is the architecture on delta halo different to the usual forerunner style?

Because they have different cultures, just like humans do.

It seems pretty simple when you put it like that way lol , don't know why I didn't think of that, I always looked at the forerunners being just one identity in that sense.

I thought the old architecture stuff was considered the forerunner ancient architecture. While the gondolas and temple thingies are the usual modern forerunner architecture that we usually see.

I think it wasn't maintained as well, the sentinels were busy containing the floods

Just different styles. Like Asian to Greek. The structures on Delta Halo are the same type on Sanghelios.

No, I meant real life Asian and Greek architectural styles. They both come from the same species but are vastly different in style.
