Not like PS Gamers would save money from this.
They're already going to be paying for PS+ for all of the other games that they'll be playing right alongside TESO. Not Sony's going to discount you PS+ fee for the time you spend playing TESO.
Microsoft isn't forcing ZOS to charge a sub fee. MS and Sony have every right to charge for their services. If I were MS, I would keep charging as well. Sony is doing this as a shadow-discount because theyknow that they've already got your money.

Edited by Vgnut: 1/29/2014 9:48:08 PMAre they? Or are there people interested in making TESO their online game of choice for some period of time and don't want to pay two subscriptions to do that? The Xbox One version requires additional restrictions that the PS4 and PC versions don't. That's a fact.

But the number of Gamers who're going to have a PS4 specifically to play TESO is going to be less than 10%. that's simple economic proportions right there. The fact is, 90+% of the Gamers who'll play TESO on their PS4 are already going to be playing other games and therefore already be paying for PS+. This leads to no actual saving for the vast majority of PS Gamers. trying to justify the savings off of so small a demographic is grasping for straws (at best).

I said nothing about people owning a PS4 just to play TESO. You're pulling random percentages out of the air and calling them facts to spin this development for whatever reason. Here's something not made up: If you own a PS4 and choose to buy TESO, as many will, and want to make that your online game of choice for any number of months, you won't have to pay for PS+ in addition to Bethesda's subscription. You won't have that option on the Xbox One because Microsoft refuses to give ground. There's no grasping at straws or statistics here. Again if you choose to play TESO on the PS4 you can do that without PS+. That option isn't available on the Xbox One.
