Titan kill count is updated periodically in the stream. 1 PLEX is worth roughly 500-600 million ISK. A Titan is worth roughly 120 billion ISK (as of 2010, don't know if the current price has gone down at all) which converts to about 7,600 USD. Using simple math you can calculate the amount of equivalent USD lost. It's important to note that these alliances aren't actually using real money. Most big alliances like this produce (mostly) everything themselves and have absolutely no need for PLEX. This is just for funsies.
