That's awesome!
Maybe if you are only gaming on a single monitor, you get one 770 and get an SSD?
Edited by Dovahkiin: 1/27/2014 9:24:12 PMI've never used an SSD in any of my systems. But are the benefits actually noticeable? Also, I've considered buying a GTX 770. However the price of the GTX 760 has dropped significantly in the UK so I decided to buy a GTX 760 in SLI config.
But are the benefits actually noticeable?
Yes. Install your OS onto the SSD, and then install all of your games onto a hard drive.
-
Any specific recommendations? Can you also assess the quality of the build?
-
I can't specify anything or asses the build until I have the overall budget. I need to see its price to performance ratio.
-
It costs around £985.

Here: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/2IEIH Sure it's like, £40 more, more or less, but it's well worth it, because instead of getting dual 760s, you're getting dual 770s, and a better CPU. Just saying, but the 750 watt PSU is plenty for an SLI configuration. Don't worry about it, trust me.
But are the benefits actually noticeable?
Yes. Very.
-
Pardon my ignorance but can you describe the benefits? Any recommendations?
-
MUCH MUCH MUCH faster speeds than any hard drive. Install your operating system onto an SSD for super fast performance, and boot times average ~7 - ~15 seconds, depends on how much the OS has to load up. A hard drive would take ~30 seconds, maybe longer.
