Working on restoring my first car, a 1967 Ford Mustang, 289 two - barrel coup. Maroon exterior (current) Black interior (current) I hope to get it "street legal" by next year and mostly restored by my senior year.

  • What are your plans for it?

  • Well: first I need to replace part or ALL of the floor pans, fix the electrics, then re-carpet the interior, and clean up the dash. Then I need a new radiator (and any other mechanical issues that arise), need to fix part of the front where it was hit, new door skin(s), and new bumpers. Once all is said and done, I'll restore it to its original color and put a white top on it.

  • Are you going to upgrade the suspension or brakes at all?

  • Oh yeah, sorry, forgot about them. I was just a little more concerned earlier when I discovered the smell in the car came from the mold, rust, and rat crap underneath the back seats. Yeah I'll upgrade the brakes and suspension, but until then I'll have to deal with crappy drums...
