Ok i think you guys are missing something here, it has CLEARLY been stated that Destiny is completely different then what we have seen before, it has been said that its nothin like halo and is more fast paced, making it more towards the cod style of play but not quite as there are alot of things that give an edge to the game that make it way different, such as the supers. These are completely new to the fps franchise giving the multiplayer a more technical feel because u will have to be wise as u just rushing in and getting killed will just feed the enemy team supers, also you can not just use your supers in any situation as each super is completely different from the rest, also the differentiating classes add to the fact that there are MANY different playing styles, you will have to compensate for this as not everyone will be playin the exact same way as it basically is in cod and halo. On top of this things like the sifferent movement options, melee attacks and the fact that there wont be any gun that is extremely better than the other, just different will allow for a more spread out arsenal and you wont see eeryone using the same same weapon making fighting different each time. All in all Destiny will be completely different, and playing halo or cod will NOT give you an edge depending on which game u play, yes playing an fps will give u an edge because of more experience but playing halo will not give u nore of an edge than another game.
