My girlfriend uses it, I can't really be doing with any of that social media stuff myself.

Why not? This site is social media(Kinda)!

This is anonymous social media and it's generally more broad/interesting. With my real life friends, I prefer to socialise in person and anyone I need to talk to has my number. I have Facebook but really only so I can organise nights out or things to do with my mates as a group.
