Firstly, Wheres the question? this seems like more of a statement.
Secondly. GIVE ME NUMBERS MAN. If the whole topic is so upsetting, how about including that information in post instead of blabbering an opinion?

How is it an opinion?

Edited by Rubber Ducky Yellow : 1/24/2014 2:29:02 AM
That puts Destiny at a shit-tier level.

This is basically -blam!-ing firefight.
Ah, and I see the question now. You simply forgot to use punctuation. But before I can answer your question. I still would like to know the numbers of which you are speaking limits of.

You can only play with whoever's on your fire team.
-
Unless its a public event or pvp. 3 is fine for a fireteam. Otherwise its army vs army and everyone is shooting everything. This game has a better balance this way.
-
Or it will just be another halo firefight game.
-
Wrong. Can't tell you how wrong you are. Wait man sept 9 will have you singing a different tune.
-
Or Destiny will be a bust.
-
You should go youtube rev3games. Adam sessler has a very good segment on this exact topic. Rev3 games. Titanfall and why bigger isn't always better.

I have faith in bungie even if you don't.

You can only play with whoever's on your fire team in your instance. Once you leave that area you, seamlessly, enter a shared-world where there will be many more people.
-
And yet in the E3 demo there was a two person fire team, joined by 4 or 5 other 3 person fire teams, bringing the player count up to 18ish people all fighting the same creatures.
-
Wtf that didn't happen

Edited by Rubber Ducky Yellow : 1/24/2014 2:47:12 AMoh like this? Starts at 8:30 Edit: i geuss its only two in video, but my point still stands. and Rafiki explained it better.

That only happens during public events. the rest of the game is solo or with fire team.
That only happens during public events. the rest of the game is solo or with fire team.
So i wouldn't want a 30 man fireteam. You go from being an important figure in your fireteam to being a face in the crowd. Thats no way to stand out. That would cripple the gameplay. Especially on interior areas.
-
Why would you want to stand out? To bloat your ego?
-
Thats the whole point of destiny. Jeez pull your head out your ass. When you want huge battles do what i do play battlfield 4 on next gen consoles. This is a personal story journey for a 3 man fireteam. Perfect. I trust bungie to do this and do it right. Pvp should support at least 24-32 players. Public events could prolly do 5 or 6 squads of 3. I'm speculating on this of course. Ease up play the beta and if you don't like it quit the community and dont buy the game. Easy as that.
